ACRYLICS: WATERCOLOUR STYLE

BY JOHN COX

Here's the official trailer, for this course, from the ArtTutor members site:

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Acrylics has to be the most versatile medium of all! In this course, John Cox shows you how to paint acrylics in a watercolour style - giving the translucent feel that watercolourists love but with the flexibility and forgiveness of acrylic paint.

John eases you into this style with some basic techniques and how to set up your materials. You'll then move on to some simple wet-in-wet and wash exercises. Next, you'll create a simple, loose landscape followed by a more detailed landscape study, where you'll learn to build up thin layers of acrylic paint. And then finish up with a study of London's famous Tower Bridge.

This is great course for both watercolourists and acrylic painters alike!

Hurray. Got it working! I'm watching it all but looking forward to the full paintings as I fancy trying acrylics for landscapes.
