WET-IN-WET OILS FOR BEGINNERS
BY GILL ADLINGTON
Here are the images you'll learn to paint in this class:
What's the big downside to painting with oils?
It's the drying time. On the one hand it allows you blend the paint beautifully. But on the other hand you have wait until the next day (at least!) to paint subsequent layers.
Unless that is, you use the wet-in-wet technique!
Gill was trained by the company behind a famous TV artist (that we're not allowed to mention but have given her permission to demonstrate on ArtTutor). If you want to paint oils quickly and with the minimum of fuss, then this is the course for you!
Gill will take you through a series of landscape images showing you the techniques to create the effect of skies, mountains, trees and water. This class is the perfect accompaniment to Gill's Wet-In-Wet Oils class.

You make it look so easy! Thanks for explaining the structure so well. I think I can apply this to other mediums too.
Thankyou so much for that demo Gill. Your easy to listen to, and very gentle instuctions make learning how to paint very addictive.
Highly informative demonstration thankyou. I have not seen that painting knife before. Must buy and use one. Now on to your next demonstration. Thanks.
